Neeraj Chopra is human, we should celebrate his silver medals too: Ex-AFI chief

Athletics Federation of India selection committee chairman Adille Sumariwalla defended Neeraj Chopra after his silver medal finish at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Sumariwalla reminded fans that Chopra is human and remains India’s greatest athlete. "He is also a human being, and we should leave it at that," he said.
