The AIFF is considering withdrawing from the FIFA ASEAN Cup to host an India versus Brazil friendly on October 3 at Salt Lake Stadium. Bhaichung Bhutia said, "I suggested that we prioritise the FIFA ASEAN Cup because of the competitive value it brings." The body remains cautious about its spending.
