Trillion-mile gas streamer may explain tilt of triple-star system's outer planet-forming ring

Astronomers using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array captured a trillion-mile gas streamer feeding the triple-star system GW Orionis. Maria Galloway-Sprietsma said, "When our team modeled the infall of this streamer, we found that the angle at which it impacts the disk is closely aligned with the outer ring." This explains tilted rings.
