Cancer cases in Haryana up 11% in 5 years

Cancer cases in Haryana rose by 11.3% between 2021 and 2025, reaching 33,395 estimated patients. Data tabled in the Rajya Sabha showed that cancer-related deaths also climbed by 11.1% during this period. The state now ranks 17th nationally for new cases. Officials said they started screening services to help manage this burden.
