An elegant modification doubles the range of low-noise 'white lasers' in a single fiber
Researchers at DTU Electro doubled the range of low-noise white lasers using a single fiber. Their study in Optica showed the system spans 0.86 to 2.90 micrometers. Andrea Arduin said, "What we have shown is that you can push the spectral width significantly without paying the price in noise."
