Supreme Court stays Abhishek Banerjee's bodyguard's arrest in land grab case

The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed the arrest of TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee’s bodyguard, Sumit Roy, in a land-grabbing case. The bench asked Roy to cooperate with the investigation daily. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta opposed the relief, claiming, "She always intervenes whenever a law enforcement agency is" doing its duty.
