Centre revives push for delimitation, women's quota Bills; reaches out to Congress

The Centre renewed efforts to pass a Bill for 33 per cent women’s reservation and increase Lok Sabha seats to 816. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju met Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday to discuss the plan. The government hopes to build support before the Monsoon session ends on August 13 this year.
