Bengal madrasa Vande Mataram order faces pushback on ground, scrutiny in HC

Bengal’s Madrasa Education Department directed all madrasas to sing Vande Mataram, triggering resistance from parents and teachers. During Tuesday's Calcutta High Court hearing, lawyer Kalyan Banerjee questioned the mandate. Asikul Alam said, "Though a few madrasas have started the practice, we are facing a lot of resistance from the students."
