Airport infrastructure gets Rs 87,590 crore capex in five years, Centre tells Lok Sabha

The Centre said on August 6 that the Airports Authority of India and partners spent Rs 87,590 crore on airport development between FY 2021-22 and FY 2025-26. This massive investment helped modernise existing hubs and build new greenfield projects. Many cities now expect better connectivity as the government pushes these infrastructure plans.
