Residents in Gujarat’s Morbi district were puzzled after a village well began shaking continuously. District Geologist JS Vadher said, "This is not seismic activity." Officials believe heavy monsoon rainfall caused groundwater to recharge, forcing trapped air through rock fractures. A scientific team will visit the site to conduct further investigations.
