Supreme Court orders two Ghaziabad hospitals to pay Rs 12 lakh to family of deceased 4-year-old rape victim

The Supreme Court on Friday ordered two Ghaziabad hospitals to pay Rs 12 lakh to the family of a four-year-old rape victim. The child died after hospitals allegedly denied her emergency treatment. The court said it will now set broad guidelines for hospitals and police to handle such grave cases.
