India said it did not endorse the press conference held by former Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina in Delhi on Wednesday. Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal told reporters the government played no role in the event. Hasina claimed the situation in Bangladesh worsened, alleging people live in fear after a rigged election.
