Parliament passes MSME Amendment Bill

Parliament passed the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill 2026 to help small businesses get payments faster. The Lok Sabha cleared the Bill on Friday after the Rajya Sabha approved it on Monday. This new law makes it mandatory for public enterprises to settle invoices through digital systems.
