‘No flood risk’: Yamuna water near warning level after season's highest release from Hathnikund

The Yamuna’s water level in Delhi started rising on Wednesday after the Hathnikund barrage released 63,109 cusecs. Officials said there is no flood risk at present, even as the river nears the warning level. “The situation is well under control,” an official said, noting the high flow will cleanse the river.
