India asks China to share details of upstream water projects at WMCC meet

India and China held the 36th WMCC meeting in New Delhi on Thursday to discuss border management. India asked China to share technical details on upstream projects on trans-border rivers. The Indian side said, "maintaining peace and tranquillity in the border areas is essential for the overall development of bilateral relations."
