In PM Modi's footsteps, Shivakumar eyes defence land for new Bengaluru garden

Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar plans to build three new parks in Bengaluru. He said, "Our government is considering three Lalbagh-style gardens in Bengaluru." He wants to use defence land for one, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Varanasi project. Officials also started talks to use forest land for others.
