Assam To Monitor Individual Collection Of Flood Relief Funds

The Assam government will start the final assessment of flood losses on Friday. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "Nobody has the right to compel people to donate." He warned that police will act against forced collection of relief funds. Officials now have access to all flood-hit areas for help.
