Markets begin adjusting to new closing auction mechanism as volatility eases

Volatility linked to India's new closing auction mechanism eased on Thursday as traders adjusted to the revised settlement process. The Sensex recorded its biggest post-3:15 pm closing adjustment since the mechanism started. SEBI has also asked brokers to improve price visibility and boost participation to help markets get more stable.
