Historic WWII Ships Resurface as Danube River Water Levels Plummet

Dozens of WWII German warships emerged in the Danube River near Prahovo, Serbia, as drought caused water levels to drop. These ships were scuttled in September 1944. Resident Krsta Brandic said, "As you can see, the (big) ships can't pass anymore." The low water now threatens power plants and navigation.
