Delhi air pollution linked to higher death risk among TB Patients: Study

A large study linked Delhi’s fine particulate air pollution to higher death risks for tuberculosis patients. Researchers analysed 61,925 adults who started treatment between September 2022 and August 2023. Findings showed that as pollution levels rose, the odds of dying increased. Pranay Sinha said, “TB deaths tend to come early.”
