India reviewing bilateral investment treaty overhaul to boost foreign investment: Official

India is reviewing its model bilateral investment treaty, a senior finance ministry official said on Friday. The cabinet will decide on changes to attract more foreign capital. "We are looking at what are red flags and we have a negative list," said economic affairs secretary Anuradha Thakur in New Delhi.
