Tiny Pacific island nation Nauru reclaims traditional name 'Naoero'

The Pacific island nation of Nauru officially changed its name to the Republic of Naoero. President David Adeang said, "It is already the identity of the people." Parliament passed a constitutional amendment in May to make this change. The government started notifying international groups to preserve the legacy of their ancestors.
