Why was Israel spared scrutiny for the 1967 USS Liberty attack?

On June 8, 1967, Israel attacked the USS Liberty, killing 34 US sailors. Israel said it was mistaken identity, but survivors dispute this. Many believe governments did little to uncover the truth. US Representative Thomas Massie will speak on the attack. Richard Brooks said, "It wasn't a tragic accident."
