What Wisconsin socialists tell us about the Democratic fightback

Democratic socialist Francesca Hong has a narrow polling lead in the August 11 Wisconsin Democratic primary for governor. The party hopes to reclaim its progressive roots in the Midwest. Milwaukee historian John Gurda says, "Socialism is not part of the dim and distant past; in some ways it's part of our DNA."
