US will not win Iran war from the air, Donald Trump's ex-defence chief warns

Donald Trump’s former defence secretary Mark Esper warned that the US will not win its war against Iran through aerial bombardment. On Wednesday, Esper said, "One option is you resort to full military onslaught. The other one is you strangle them economically." The conflict has already pushed global oil prices higher.
