Seven months after Trump intervention, US senators seek Venezuela elections

U.S. senators called for elections in Venezuela on Tuesday, seven months after President Trump’s administration installed an acting president. Senators Ted Cruz and Jeanne Shaheen introduced a resolution seeking the release of political prisoners.
