Nepali City Struggles to Handle the Many Bodies on Its Riverbanks

Bharatpur in Nepal is struggling as 220 bodies washed down to the city following floods this week. Local morgues cannot hold so many remains, so authorities decided to bury them. "It has no chilling facilities," police chief Rameshwor Poudel said about the makeshift mortuary. Officials are now preserving DNA samples.
