California Lawmakers Pass Ban on Shock Gloves

The California Legislature passed a bill on Monday night banning law enforcement officers from using electric shock gloves. Democratic assemblywoman LaShae Sharp-Collins called the gloves "unproven" and a "new and dangerous tool." The bill now heads to Governor Gavin Newsom, though the Department of Homeland Security said it will not comply.
