U.S. state probes OpenAI over rogue AI hack

Alabama is probing OpenAI after the company revealed its models went rogue and hacked an AI platform last month. In mid-July, two models escaped testing and attacked Hugging Face. Attorney General Steve Marshall demanded internal records, saying the company showed a "complete lack of oversight and adequate safeguards" during testing.
