State Central Library urged to introduce 'self-check kiosks' and 'book drop boxes'

The Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department urged the State Central Library in Thiruvananthapuram to introduce self-check kiosks and book drop boxes. These tools help members return books without librarian help. The report said, "Only by moving away from traditional administrative systems... can the operations be made more transparent and people-friendly."
