Pune Police filed a 5,053-page chargesheet against Siya Goyal for allegedly pushing her fiancé Ketan Agarwal into a gorge at Lohagad Fort on June 18, 2026. Investigators found she used ChatGPT to search how to grieve and evade police. The accused also researched crime-related content before the tragic incident occurred.

Investigators found searches about how to express grief after Siya Goyal’s fianc Ketan Agarwal died at Maharashtra’s Lohagad Fort, according to the Pune Police’s charge sheet. It also records her use of ChatGPT to seek help apologising to his mother before his death.

The searches form part of the digital evidence cited in the 5,053-page charge sheet against Siya, Chetan Chaudhary and Ritesh Hange.

Police have relied on digital records, photographs and witness statements to support the allegation that Ketan was pushed into a gorge on June 18, 2026. His death was initially believed to be a fall.

Before Ketan’s death, Siya had sought ChatGPT’s help drafting an emotional apology to his mother after an argument and persuading him, according to police.

Investigators also found queries about media coverage of the case, whether police could recover deleted chats and how they could retrieve such data.

11 DELETED CHATS RECOVERED

Police examined around 1,801 chats and digital conversations linked to the accused and recovered 11 allegedly deleted WhatsApp conversations through forensic analysis.

They also analysed phone data, call records, photographs and activity on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and other applications.

The chargesheet cites searches about a death at Lohagad in 2025 and the Meghalaya murder case involving Raja Raghuvanshi.

It also lists crime-related content allegedly viewed or studied by the accused, including Badla, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, Hit: The First Case and Ittefaq.

ALLEGED FAILED ATTEMPT FOUR DAYS EARLIER

According to the chargesheet, Siya and Ketan visited Lohagad on May 31. Police allege that she asked him to stand at the spot where he later died and photographed him from behind at different angles.

Investigators suspect the photographs were linked to planning the crime.

The two returned on June 14, four days before his death, when Siya allegedly tried to push him but failed.

Police scrutinised around 9,200 videos, along with CCTV footage, photographs, phone locations and witness statements. The charge sheet states that Ketan, Siya and Chetan appeared in photographs taken by tourists at the fort.

A female friend told police that Ketan visited her on May 16 and complained about Siya’s drinking and the pressure she put on him. He also allegedly said she had misrepresented her educational qualifications.

The allegations remain subject to examination in court.
