OpenAI pays $3.2M to settle claims over foreign worker bias

OpenAI will pay $3.2 million to settle claims that it favored foreign workers over US applicants. The Justice Department said the firm made it hard for locals to apply for certain roles. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said, "It is illegal to discriminate against US workers by preferring temporary visa holders."
