Mahindra has given its three-door Thar a substantial mechanical overhaul with the introduction of the Thar OG. The SUV gets a new 4G frame, revised suspension, electronic power steering, four-wheel disc brakes and an electronic differential lock. The 2.2-litre diesel now develops 152 PS and 330 Nm, while gearbox tuning has been revised for smoother shifts. The updates are also aimed at improving comfort and refinement, both on highways and over broken roads. Inside, the Thar OG gets a larger touchscreen, revised instrumentation and upgraded seat and cabin materials. For full review and more watch the accompanying video.
