India less exposed to AI job risks than others, Goldman says

India’s workforce faces minimal job losses from artificial intelligence, Goldman Sachs said Friday. Chief economist Santanu Sengupta noted that many workers perform physical tasks, which AI does not currently impact. While some services roles face risks, Sengupta said, “the productivity benefits will outweigh the potential job losses” over five years.
