Google will have to open up Android and Search data to rivals under new EU specifications

Europe’s antitrust regulator ordered Google to open its Android system and search data to rivals. The company must share search data from January 2027, with Android changes starting July 2027. The European Commission said, “The aim of these measures is to allow companies to be able to offer European users.”
