Leaked CAD renders of the Google Pixel 11a have surfaced online, giving an early look at the upcoming budget phone. The device features a pill-shaped camera module and a 6.3-inch display. Google could use its Tensor G6 chipset, and the phone may get a slightly smaller footprint than the Pixel 10a.
Google has only recently brought its Pixel 10a to the market, but rumours about its successor have already started picking up pace. The Pixel 11a is expected to continue Google's more affordable Pixel lineup, and the first leaked renders now give us an early look at what the phone could look like. While the overall design seems familiar, Google could make a few small changes to the camera module and make the phone slightly more compact.
According to a report by Android Headlines, in collaboration with tipster Steve H. McFly, who goes by the username @OnLeaks on X, CAD renders of the rumoured Pixel 11a have surfaced online. The renders show a phone that looks quite similar to the Pixel 10a, but there are some noticeable changes, particularly around the rear camera module.
Google Pixel 11a expected design, specs and features
The leaked renders suggest that the Pixel 11a could retain the flat rear panel seen on its predecessor. The biggest change appears to be the camera island. The phone is shown with a pill-shaped camera module, but it looks slightly larger than the one on the Pixel 10a. The module could house a dual rear camera setup, along with an LED flash placed beside it.
Up front, the Pixel 11a is expected to feature a flat display with relatively thick bezels. A centred hole-punch cutout can also be seen, which is likely to house the selfie camera. The power and volume buttons are expected to sit on the right side, while the bottom could feature a USB Type-C port, speaker grille and microphone.
The Pixel 11a is also rumoured to come with a 6.3-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel could offer up to 2,250 nits of HDR brightness and 3,350 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, Google could use its Tensor G6 chipset, paired with the MediaTek M90 networking chip, which is also expected to power other Pixel 11 series phones.
As for colours, the Pixel 11a could be offered in four options, including black, green, purple and silver. These could reportedly be marketed as Obsidian, Olive or Pistachio, Frost and Fog.
The phone could also get a slightly smaller footprint than the Pixel 10a. As per the leaked details, the Pixel 11a may measure 153.46 x 72.35 x 9mm, compared with the Pixel 10a's 153.9 x 73 x 9mm dimensions.
For now, Google has not confirmed anything about the Pixel 11a, including its launch date or specifications. So, we suggest taking it with a pinch of salt.
