Google buys data of bankrupt airline to train AI models

Google is buying data from bankrupt Spirit Airlines to train its AI models. The deal includes seven billion flight records and 30 million lines of code. A US bankruptcy judge will hear the case on Wednesday. Before Google gets the data, a third party will scrub all personal customer information away.
