C-DAC anchors India's bid for Nvidia-like artificial intelligence chip

India aims to build its own Nvidia-like artificial intelligence chip within three years. Union IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Wednesday that the first indigenous chip will be ready by 2029 or 2030. C-DAC has selected HCL Infosystems to validate the design and performance of this new processor for domestic use.
