John Ternus took over from Tim Cook as Apple’s new CEO on Tuesday, September 1. The engineer, who built hardware for the iPhone and Mac, joined the company in 2001. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Ternus now leads the firm after a long career.
