AI should not be 'solo performance' but 'symphony of global collaboration': Xi Jinping

Chinese President Xi Jinping said AI should be a "symphony of global collaboration" at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai. China started the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organisation with 29 nations. Xi also promised 5,000 AI research projects to help developing countries grow their technology in the coming years.
