Toronto Open 2026: Sabalenka eases past qualifier Uchijima; Swiatek, Kostyuk post wins

World number one Aryna Sabalenka beat qualifier Moyuka Uchijima 6-3, 6-3 at the Toronto WTA 1000 on Tuesday. Sabalenka said, "I'm happy with the performance, I'm happy with the fight." Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek and Marta Kostyuk also posted wins. Swiatek got past Sara Bejlek as many top players started their hard court run.
