Sri Lanka cricket refuses to back out, hopes to host Women's Champions Trophy

Sri Lanka Cricket is working to keep the 2027 Women's Champions Trophy despite ICC concerns over government interference. Interim chairman Eran Wickremaratna said, "We are very committed to really correcting from the very foundation. We are not backing out." The board now hopes to show that their new reforms satisfy everyone.
