Well, I’m not quite sure what’s happened there. The Sri Lanka chase was alive for exactly one ball before India dominated. There were wickets for Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, and even two for Abhishek Sharma in a truly dominant win.
Sri Lanka didn’t help its case with three catastrophic run-outs, and just like that, India strolls into the final.

A good effort in the end from India, powered by a superb knock from Ishan Kishan. This is a tough wicket to bat on, with the ball turning square from the first delivery, but Kishan picked his moments to attack superbly in his unbeaten hand.
With three top spinners in Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, and Washington Sundar, India will back itself to defend this and seal a gold medal match berth.
