Battle within Hockey India intensifies, Federation slaps notice to Asunta

Hockey India served a show cause notice to former captain Asunta Lakra following complaints from Albela Rani Toppo. The Ethics Committee asked for a response by 30th July 2026. This move follows Asunta’s own allegations of harassment. The federation said, "The copies of both the complaints are hereby transmitted to you."
