India won a silver medal in the men's recurve archery team event at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya on Friday. The team of Dhiraj Bommadevara, Yashdeep Bhoge, and Neeraj Chauhan lost 1-5 to South Korea in the final. This result marks India's fourth medal in this event's history.

India ended its archery team events campaigns at the ongoing Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with a silver medal in recurve men's team on Friday.

The Indian team of Dhiraj Bommadevara, Yashdeep Bhoge, and Neeraj Chauhan lost 1-5 to South Korea's Kim Je Deok, Kim Woojin, and Lee Wooseok.

This is India's fourth medal in this event in the history of the Asiad, after having won bronze in 2006 and 2010, and bagging silver in Hangzhou 2022. Dhiraj was part of the Indian trio last edition which had lost to the Koreans.

Earlier in the day, the Indian team had beaten Iran 6-0 in the semifinals.

Chinese Taipei beat the Iranians 6-2 to win the bronze medal.
