Ajit Agarkar's 'Disagreement' With BCCI Started In 2nd Meeting Over Superstar's Elevation As Captain

Ajit Agarkar’s tenure as BCCI chief selector is nearing its end after reports of internal friction. His disagreement with the board started in July 2023 over Jasprit Bumrah’s elevation as captain. The BCCI said Bumrah was "keen to lead and hence should be given the opportunity" during the Ireland tour.
