Rise and Fall Season 2 recently premiered with Virender Sehwag taking over as the host from Ashneer Grover. The reality show follows the ‘Rulers vs Workers’ format. Niharika Tiwari, who is currently a contestant on Rise and Fall 2, spoke exclusively to Times of India TV. Talking about Virender Sehwag replacing Ashneer Grover as the host, Niharika said she is excited to see the former cricketer take on this new role. She said, “Main unki fan rahi hoon. Yaar, woh hamare India ke liye trophy leke aaye hue hain. Of course, main unke saath cricket bhi khelna chahti hoon. So yeah, main unko dekhna chahti hoon as a host, woh kaise host karte hain.” (I have been his fan. He has gotten trophy for India as well. Of course, I would also like to play cricket with him. So yeah, I want to see him as a host and see how he hosts.) Niharika also spoke about her close friend Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, who is currently participating in Bigg Boss 20. She said, “Bahut badhiya khel raha hai yaar. Main toh keh rahi hoon, woh jeet bhi sakta hai ye reality show, for sure.” (He is playing really well. I am saying he can even win this reality show, for sure.) Niharika also addressed the other side of being a celebrity, dealing with criticism and hate comments. She said, “I don’t give a damn. Success ke saath, fame ke saath ye sab cheezein aa rahi hain. Agar main pyaar accept kar rahi hoon, toh mere andar itni himmat bhi honi chahiye ki main woh jo bhi accept karoon.” (I don’t give a damn. These things come with success and fame. If I am accepting the love, then I should also have the courage to accept whatever comes along with it. ) Rise and Fall 2 features 15 contestants, including Niharika Tiwari, Gautam Gulati, Kaira Anu, Karan Patel, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shehzad Poonawalla, Swara Bhasker, Irina Rudakova, Anish Bhagat, Sara Gurpal, Kajal Raghwani, Raj Grover, Manish Kashyap and Tej Pratap Yadav.
