The Indian men's senior team will be taking on Brazil for the first time in international football in a friendly at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Saturday.
This is the second of three high-profile clashes in this FIFA International Window after the Blue Tigers held Panama, which played the FIFA World Cup earlier this year, to a 1-1 draw. The Khalid Jamil-coached side is also set to play Uruguay on October 6.

Two Indian footballers have scored against Brazil in the past.

The second instance came in 2021 when Manisha Kalyan equalised against Brazil in a women's football tournament in Manaus, Brazil, although India went on to lose the fixture 1-6.
