Fireball meteor exploded over US with force of 230 tonnes of TNT

A bright fireball meteor exploded over the US on May 30 with the force of 230 tonnes of TNT. Nasa said the 5-foot meteor entered the atmosphere at 42,000 mph. It broke apart 31 miles up, causing a sonic boom heard in several states. Nasa added, "small meteoroids are not detected until they become bright fireballs."
