China launches Long March 12 rocket to space days after Long March 7A explosion

China launched a Long March 12 rocket from Wenchang on August 16, carrying SatNet satellites into space. This mission started just six days after a Long March 7A rocket exploded on August 10. The successful flight showed China’s push to keep its busy space schedule despite that recent, rare setback.
